Calabrian Prawn and Chorizo Pasta

You may notice that there are a few surplus ingredients provided, due to the number of people you have ordered for. You can choose to add these surplus ingredients to your recipe now, or save them for another meal.

Onion (Red) | Peeled and finely chopped |
Spreadable Chorizo | Skin removed and roughly chopped |
Garlic Cloves | Peel and chop or slice finely |
Raw Tiger Prawns | Leave in the fridge to defrost until using |
Tomato (Cherry) | Cut each in half |
Parsley | Finely chopped |
Method
As individual cuts may vary in shape/size, please check that they are cooked and seasoned to your liking, ahead of serving.
Step 1 15 mins | Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to the packet instructions. |

Step 2 | Meanwhile, heat a heavy based fry pan with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and bring to a medium-high heat. |
Step 3 6 mins | Add the red onion and cook for 1 minute before adding the chopped chorizo and garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until becoming crisp. |
Step 4 3 mins | Add the prawns and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. |
Step 5 2 mins | Add the tomatoes and allow to soften for 1-2 minutes before adding in the parsley. Taste and add seasoning as required. |
Step 6 2 mins | Drain the pasta and add to the fry pan mixing all through well. Serve whilst hot. |
